Obv,but with liverpool, totty and prob one more i think you should be worried.....dont arsenal fans get it, you selling your starting 11 to a side thats going for your 3rd/4th spot....your not going to finish above man united or chelsea lets be real
We haven't finished lower than 4th in 15 years. People been saying we should worry about finishing in the top 4 for the last 6 years now... Fact is our manager will start the league thinking of winning the league, he'll tell the squad and anyone that will listen that they can, and knowing Wenger he will probably be more boastful on becoming champions than Mancini will. Meanwhile Liverpool, Totty and one else, will be aiming for a top 4 finish...
the last time u finished above man united or chelsea was about 6 years ago....the last time you won the league was 2003/2004 season, if wenger is still thinking about winning the league then i feel sorry for every arsenal fan, man city won there first cup in like 37 years, there team will soon have the winning mentality,....and to make it worse your selling them players which is giving them strength in depth (the one thing arsenal are missin)for the latter part of the season...... .you best hope is to secure that 3rd spot.
Okay. How are Toure and Adebayor doing for them? It's sideways moves from BOTH clubs.

but its STILL strength in depth....for example if adebayor stays at man city he might not play against chelsea, but he will play games like, away against stoke etc...which will make mancini rest his main striker...its sort of like when man united diddnt want to sell heinze to liverpool, why build there team ...when you want less challengers goin for the title

You used the worse example, Adebayor doesnt wannabe there and Mancini doesnt want him there, you think he gonna stay and perform if he knows he's like 4th choice in a role for one... Swear Man City lost away to Stoke, that aint a light fixture btw...In a ideal Wenger world if there was no injuries, many would say Arsenal still wouldnt win the league and they would raise question marks over the likes of the keeper, one if not both centre-backs, Clichy, probably Song, and Walcott/Arshavin, all not being better than those in the same positions of the other two teams... This is why people say there are surprised Man City didnt show more ambition than Clichy.

this is the point, If Toure had gone easy on his wifes diet pills and Adebayor was as socially repellent, they both would've featured at some point in winning the FA Cup, and finishing ahead of Arsenal lat season, with the prospects for the future looking brighter aswell, hardly a side step mate, but then again who knows what the next 3 to 5 years will bring

Its been nothing but fraff talk on here since the Clichy sale. Fact is its way too early to talk this talk Only thing I can agree on is that the first bit of transfer activity has consisted of the selling of a member of our starting 11 and is also our longest serving player/vestige of the once invincibles That doesn't send a good message out of 'ambition' to other players of the squad and our potential signings

it means it doesnt matter if man city lost last time, anything can happen...wenger seems to strengthen rivals teams all the time, chelsea tap up cole, wenger sells them cole with a part exchange....do you really think alex F would let that happen...arsenal are not the team they onces was...some of your fans are still living in the "invincible" days

Selling to City only pushes them further away from you. They are already better than you lot in the league. They won more than you have in the last 5/6 years or so. Can attract better players, can afford bigger wages etc. Nasri has to be sold abroad imo. Making City stronger is not a good thing.
City atttract the same pool as players as us, and that is because of their wealth.
Yeah, they can also attract YOUR players now as well. Wenger selling to City just shows you that he still doesn't rate them which is just silly. City are eventually going to become one of the best teams in the world if they continue to invest 100 mil a year on players. They just need the right manager and its a wrap.

You used Stoke away as an example of a game that man City could afford to rotate and still win...You've used one example...

Yeah via wealth. He rates their finances and knows if he sells to them, its a easier sell to the fans and people in general as "we simply can not compete financially".Wenger stopped talking and caring about Clichy, until Clichy wanted to go Liverpool, knowing that would have been a horrendous bit of PR fr the club, suddenly he was trying to get him to sign a deal, once City popped up, Clichy was gone.

lol at anyone thinking Man City won't be in the upper echelon of European clubs soon. They're at a similar stage to where Chelsea was just before Ranieri left. It's only a mater of time, just accept it.
pos for both, duuno why people are still clinging to the belief that Players are only joining City for the pay cheque when everyone can see that the highlight and peak of their success wont be the FA cup win last season, the futures bright for them this is a bigger reason to move there, winning things i the primary reason, and getting paid handsomely to do so is a sweetner

thats what i mean, if you think the player is good enough for your team, why not spend that 1mil, not saying this ricky breh will turn out like ronaldo but im sure wenger diddnt want to pay the 12mil man united got for him
Trust, then when have to hear Wenger complaining few years later that he found the player first and we could of had him
