For me it was harder because I was at a higher level on pad so I had to re learn loooaadds of sh*t. How easy do you find tk cs' on pad cuz they should be easier on stick. Em Dott Posted September 14, 2010 Report Share Posted September 14, 2010 I was at HMV Oxford Circus and played SSF4 on one of the 360 sets and could hardly do any tkcs' on pad. Wen I look at the inputs I'm not fully rolling it all the way around from down. I go like down forward, down, down back somehow to straight up forward and the shortcuts must recognise it as a DP. The FP tk feints are far far harder which I why I respect Sanford's Viper so much. I rarely do them outside of FFF because the timing is f*cked. Alchemyst was trying to help me learn how to do it. When I press the lp+mp it's easier, but I'm not used to using those buttons to feint. I normally only use mp+hp.Why, you trying to learn Viper? Em Dott Posted September 14, 2010 Report Share Posted September 14, 2010 That's wht I do, but I can;t seem to do it properly sometimes. It's mainly if I try to do them in quick succession. I can pull of one clean, but in a pressure string I will probably f*ck up on P1 side. On P2 side, TKCS, delayed or normal are child's play./And Viper is fun to use, but I wouldn't recommend picking her if you want to win games all the time. The learning curve to use her effectively is steep ,and TBH, the payoff isn't worth it seeing as you have to work so hard to win matches and certain characters like Rog and Honda don't really have to do anything to destroy Viper. To put it in perspective, an average Honda or Rog can literally destroy a good Viper if they make the right guesses and know the match up. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
