plus the BF3 one is a faster rate of fire

Yeah, so I tried levelling up my 1887. Constant point blank range hit markers yet sometimes I can kill a guy with one shot from quite far

Yeah, its the inconsistency that sucks. Until you get damage there's no "safe" range where its a one-shot, even point blank enemies may require another hit.
