1. Arsenal 3 – Tottenham 0 (Premier League, December 2, 2006). Adebayor’s first goal against Spurs and it was easy as they come. The Togo striker beat the offside trap and fired past Paul Robinson to set the Gunners on their way to victory before two Gilberto Silva penalties.

2. Arsenal 3 – Tottenham 1 (Carling Cup semi-final second-leg, January 31, 2007). Another simple finish past Robinson for Adebayor which set Arsenal up to beat their great north London rivals on the way to the Carling Cup final.

3. Tottenham 2 – Arsenal 2 (Premier League, April 21, 2007) Jermaine Jenas secured a 2-2 draw for Spurs in the 90th minute but Emmanuel Adebayor had put the Gunners in front with a fine leap and header on 78 minutes.

4. Tottenham 1 – Arsenal 3 (Premier League, September 15, 2007) After Gareth Bale had sent the White Hart Lane faithful wild with a fine free-kick, Emmanuel Adebayor turned the north London derby around with a header from a Fabregas free-kick and then the goal of the season – a terrific flick-up and volley that flashed past Robinson.

5. Arsenal 2 – Tottenham 1 (Premier League, December 22, 2007) Again, Adebayor put Arsenal 1-0 up in a Premier League north London derby at the Emirates, this time the goal was from a clever Fabregas back heel.

6. Tottenham 5 – Arsenal 1 (Carling Cup semi-final second leg, January 22, 2008) Just a consolation for Arsenal, with Adebayor later getting into a rather ungainly spat with Nicklas Bendtner. This was another cracking strike at White Hart Lane for the Togo hitman.

7. Arsenal 4 – Tottenham 4 (Premier League, October 29, 2008) One of the all-time great Premier League games saw Spurs come back from 4-2 down with minutes remaining – Adebayor had bullied the Tottenham defence to put them 3-1 up.

8. Real Madrid 4 – Tottenham 0 (Champions League quarter-final first leg, April 5, 2011) The sending off of Peter Crouch at the Bernabeu so early in the game cost Spurs but it was Emmanuel Adebayor who did much of the damage, scoring after 5 minutes, before the red card and then adding the second on 57.

Keep dreaming, Spurs side is good on paper but they have a naive manager in Redknapp, under no circumstances have Liverpool ever gone to United and be comprehensively beaten like Spurs were recently, their weak up front and even weaker at the back.
