Drift Posted September 6, 2011 Report Share Posted September 6, 2011 i remember reading that wenger sold vieira because he and fabregas couldnt play well together and didnt want to leave fabregas on the bench at the risk of him leaving. to me that was f*ck*ng with the programme. why did wenger have to change the formula? there was no need. talent or not there must have been a better and less destructive way to accommodate him into the team. what top manager would sell their captain and heartbeat of the team just so some youngster would get more game time? we had a good, solid formula and he destroyed it just to pursue some doomed project that he didnt have the money/ability to carry out. now the nucleus of the project is gone and were getting smoked 8-2 by a club we used to be rivals with.
