never liked or listened to HLC, they were swag imo.. althoe when i was in malia a few years ago they hyped the rave with da bassline cnt lie

I never felt Heartless like that either.

My circle 99-02 were pretty much HLC groupies, 1 of the man used to go sleep every night listening to the 1 of the raves lol.

I did rate Mighty Mo certain times, lyrical hustler bars >>>>>>>

HLC were the best crew in the scene back in the day. They didn't need more than 3 members, they had a wicked DJ and two wicked MCs. No one could test Heartless in terms of the vibes they brought to a rave - and man was only listening to the audio of these raves back then...

HLC >>>

There you go.

Isn't one of them supposed to be a qualified solicitor?

But that's what I couldn't really get into, HLC would fling some lyrics then Fonti would start a next beat, too much chop and change.

For someone like me from Hip Hop that isn't coherent.

You man talking about the clash at Destiny's Watford lol

"You're out of credit" ain't killing nobody bars

Was just pure hype and screaming, HLC had the bigger fanbase so the crowd screamed loudest for them.

How else do you win a clash?

Major Ace had been trying it all night prior to HLC coming on stage, trying to instigate something, and then him and GIft act like they hadn't been prepared...Major Ace came with lyrics prepared, but the crowd had paid to see Heartless so his plans flopped. How is WIley gonna go on radio a week later and come with a bag of lyrics, but stay schtum while the clash is happening? <_<

Also, Fonti was technically one of the best DJs back in them days when he wasn't drunk up and trying to grab the mic. His mixes were the nuts, and they played teasers because they came from soundsystem roots and that's a part of their history.

Bushkin had the hype.

Mo had the lyrics. Lyrically Moe could have demolished Wiley, Gift or Major them times if he had tried and prepared. Don't take his likkle freestyle about 'no gyal, no weed' seriously, man got caught off guard and still bodied the dance.

Mozart are getting violated, I pray for that likkle bruddah Ratlin still - there's something about him I rate, he's a bravehearted yout. That Hersi guy got shot up a few days before Christmas from what I read. Google 'Herse Linni'.

When I saw that video I thought man looked over digi, my instincts were correct. Man must have known something was coming. Hope he gets well and comes off the f*ckery. Unlikely when man are calling him the Somali warlord of Mozart

You London man need to realize the city ain't THAT big. This country ain't even that big when you think of it, and from time you're involved in a subculture with any sort of social scene, your chances of coming into contact with likeminded people you don't get along with are high.

The 'trap/road rap' scene seems to place an emphasis on going 'cunch', copping jewels from Hatton, buying clothes from 'West' or Bicester Village, and maintaining a high visibility in your ends and in nondescript 'raves'. Not exactly hard to bump into these man

If your average road rapper fits that assessment, then he is an easy target for stripe-seeking deevs.

Nail on the head!

Which cements the f*ckery on Moe's part imo.

what was the reason they split tho?
