They need to start Llorente because Torres is meh and Negredo is average/one footed
Besides they can't play with a false 9 (Messi is Argentine)
casillas
arbeloa
pique
ramos
alba
bousquets
alonso
xavi
iniesta
silva
cazorla
??
or will he play a striker ?
They need to start Llorente because Torres is meh and Negredo is average/one footed
Besides they can't play with a false 9 (Messi is Argentine)
i was thinking the other day, what about man like pedro? 20+ goals a season, 2 footed, sick movement off the ball... swear he could do villas job better than torres and negredo? heard del bosque is reluctant to start llorente cos he doesnt really fit in with the whole barca minus messi style they play.
im sure everywhere ive read and what i see in the build up matches and even qualifying
Silva has been playing the messi role as false number 9
Llorente is 3rd choice after Negredo and Torres
Pedro is a good shout because he can work the channels like Villa did
Llorente I think VDB wants him as plan B
So Negredo or Torres or the false nine
Like I said the double pivot is useless if you have possession most of the time and your coming against Buses from all over Europe
apparently the italy side will be
buffon
bonucci
de rossi
Cheilieni
Maggio
Belzarreti
Pirlo
Marchisio
Motta
Balotelli
Cassano
That makes sense
Maggio as RB looks unbalance so it's better to have him as a wingback
De Rossi as sweeper makes perfect sense because instead of always relying on Pirlo to build the attacks as good as he is
De Rossi can step into midfield with the ball (Luis Enrique gets props for encouraging this)
As talented as the front two are, I would start Di Natale because out of all the Forwards he is the best finisher in Prandelli's squad.
I like the fact he picked no static forwards
That's the way forward IMO
Del Bosque needs to make a choice out of Xabi or Busquets
This double pivot shit is pointless in a tournament full of negative teams
Talk is they will use both, at least to start with
Modric
Mandzukic
Buffon
Maggio
Pirlo
Cassano
Balotelli
Giovinco
McGeady
Xavi
Iniesta
Cazorla
Pedro
Busquets or Alonso (Not on the same pitch though)
Llorente

Mario Balotelli will have both his family names on his Italy shirt at Euro 2012.
UEFA's official tournament list shows that the 21-year-old forward has registered 'Barwuah Balotelli' as his shirt name.
