SWP was good for a long period, just never progressed onto that next level..

Lennon has been good, more good than bad but I don't think he can go onto that beast mode level. I don't think Azza has improved that much since Jol, Martin used him frequently on the left and as a #10 to improve his game..he cudda been a beast under Jol's guidance..

Same with Gabby Agbonlahor, he was a better player under MON imo.

Nani is a great example of sum1 who went onto beast mode, he was unstoppable for a while, everything good came through him, but bacon face drinks too much whiskey n sucks off rooney n blames Luis Nani for everything

you need to give joey allen a break mate he is playing as a anchor man/pivot which isn't his strength he plays further forward

doubt de guzman can play in a position that isnt his favoured and he excels

If Sterling improves and works at his game he could be a player, but he will go the Lennon way imo

Call me gassed but Lennon sometimes reminds me of messi, his ball control and the way he dribbles at pace is frightening

But then again Wingers are supposed to be inconsistent, credit to Gareth Bale thoe coz he turned it around and has improved his game a lot, I reckon he needs to go to a top team or abroad to really excel

Lennon doesn't even dribble like Ben Arfa and he is the closest thing to Messi in terms of dribbling in this country

Bale would actually excel aboard due to his athleticism but will get found wanting in the big games

Lennon been a massive player for us over the years

Has turned up in the big games when needed more often than not

Unfortuante though that his game really hasn't progressed to the heights it could have
