Why not just create a charity aimed at afro/caribbean projects and people pay into that? People can apply for funding for cultural days, business start ups, community events etc

Only way to really get grass roots like that is by building schools, which I am not against.

Nonsense, nothing is promised. I see a lot of older strong black women that have single handed raised families, be it married or otherwise. However the younger generation ain't following their lead, they have let society rule them, a society that definitely didnt come from there homes.

On topic this would never work within the black 'community' you have so many people who would never trust each other.  Why would an African care about advancing a west Indian etc
