Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed that Adel Taarabt will move to White Hart Lane on a permanent deal, with Athletic Bilbao youngster Yuri Berchiche joining him in relocating to North London.Taarabt joined Spurs on loan from Lens in January and, after breaking into the first team picture at the age of 17, has now earned a permanent stay at the Premiership side. The French youth international appeared twice as a substitute last season - against Chelsea and West Ham - and sporting director Damien Comolli is expecting the young midfielder to continue his upwards curve in the coming years."I didn't expect Adel to break into the first team group so early," Comolli told the club's official website."We told him the first six months were for him to settle down and then we would take it from there."We were a little bit surprised it happened so quickly for him, but we also know his talent is unbelievable."Physically he has become a lot stronger and fitter since joining and he needs to remain on that path."We are very happy he will be committing his future to us in making this move permanent."Spurs have added to the permanent capture of Taarabt by tying up a deal for 17-year-old Bilbao left-back Berchiche. The Spanish youth international will play for Spurs' academy side next season after agreeing to continue his education in England."Yuri is a very good athlete with a great left foot," Comolli continued. "He is strong in the air and particularly suited to the English game because in Bilbao they possess a similar mentality."He is regarded as one of the best left-backs coming through in Spain and Yuri will be a very good signing for us."We have been following him for two seasons now and his signing will continue our strategy of strengthening at all levels of the playing side."

When Taarbat came on against west ham that day he looked the real deal.
It was a matter of a few minutes and one free kick which he won.He didn't destroy west ham he took controlled the ball well with a couple of touches before he was fouled. No one can say whether he is to be a success or flop on the basis of that.Chris Eagles scored a curling beauty against Everton, should I hype him unnecessarily because of that....No!Let's see what the kid has before creating a hype bandwagon.

He took Makalele for a bitch as well. He was playing sick against one of the best midfields in the world, i swear no one saw that match in full. Soon as man came on, he just banged some shot which Cech had to save, nearly scored.
