From what I see and hear, Vista isn't worth it. XP does everything you need. All vista has is looks.
this is what people said about XP when it came out..saying windows 2000 was fine. get with the times. not saying one should rush in 2 weeks after the new software comes out, but to sit there 2yrs later (ok 1yr in this case) saying theres no need to upgrade is kinda silly. obviously there ARE some significant changes. changes which, when i use an xp pc now i immediately miss vista.
Well to confirm it for you...I am running Windows Vista as I brought a brand new PC,also....I am with Virgin Media (Cable) and yes it works fineHOWEVERwhen they send you the broadband disc the disc will not load the broadband program you have to ring them up and they give you an i.p addresss to type in and you install from there.but yes it does work, fine and fast no hassles.

not in my case..I have had every opperating system from windows 95 to windows vistaevery other operating system I have had I have had problems with... So far (touch wood) Vista seems to be the only opperating system that has not crashed, it runs very fast and has better features. IMO of course.

Saying that though i still run win2k on a couple of my pc's and theres nothing wrong with that either....

IP address? Where would you type it? Does FM even work on Vista?

IN INTERNET EXPLORERits mad i knowbut you set up ur modem and sh*tthen you open internet explorer it will say "could not connect" then in the top address bar enter the i.p and it will connect you to the virgin media set up server
Emcee E Crack give me the IP address, I might need it.GT how did you install FM? Mounted the image/sdhide etc etc?I don't wanna get Vista and then have nothing to run on it.
Unless if you're a hardcore gamer who needs DX10 and you have a DX10 graphics card so you can play your high end graphics games with a PC that has no less than 1GB of ram. Then don't bother really. Saying that though. There's some nice features with Vista but half of them won't really be worthwhile till it reaches Service Pack 1. As at the mo most manufacturers are still playing catch up.It wont hurt to try it out and see what you feel about it yourself to be really. As every user experience is different.

It's not worth it if you're paying extra for it.
