Rsonist
Yeah, read that, took it with a pinch of salt, it wouldnt surprise me if it was true knowing the complete a**hole that is Commoli. But if you offered me today, Torres or Dimi, it would be the latter everytime. Rsonist
The wage bills dont bother our club, we are swimming in money at the moment. That is not the problem, the problem is, if such sh*t such as Rocha, Gardener, Chimbo, Stalteri, Ghetto Kid actually get a game. They cost us points. We need to get rid.... Guest Robin_Van_PersG
Berbatov will be priced out of a move to united - is a 27 year old really worth 35 million?

Rsonist
Manchester United have agreed to pay Tottenham £28million for striker Dimitar Berbatov according to reports - but the Bulgarian won't be allowed to leave White Hart Lane until Spurs boss Juande Ramos lines up a replacement. Today's Evening Standard reports that the two clubs have finally reached a deal after offers of £20m and £25m were rejected. Spurs have always insisted publicly Berbatov is not for sale but appear to have been resigned for some time their prize asset will be leaving.SMH

Rsonist
Tottenham expect to seal the signing of Blackburn's David Bentley for £17m today with Paul Robinson heading in the opposite direction - and bitter North London rivals Arsenal can expect to cash in as a result.Spurs chairman Daniel Levy and Rovers chief John Williams will meet to thrash out figures for the exchange deal that will see Bentley get his wish to leave Ewood Park and Rovers a replacement for Brad Friedel. The merry-go-round sparked into life yesterday as Aston Villa closed in on £2.5m- rated Blackburn No.1 Friedel .And with Spurs set to sell striker Dimitar Berbatov to Manchester United for £25m, the White Hart Lane club will have the cash to fund the Bentley deal.Reports in the Mirror suggest Robinson will take over from Blackburn's long-serving Friedel, who has been tempted to leave by a lucrative three-year contract at Villa.Tottenham want £5m for Robinson but Rovers hope to push them down to around £4m - and if they succeed then the deal will go ahead.Robinson has turned down other approaches in the last 48 hours as he knows of Blackburn's interest - and is keen to go to Ewood Park to kick-start his career.Spurs have been trying to land Bentley for weeks but Rovers are holding out for £17m a fee that includes a sell-on clause which will see a chunk of the profit go to Arsenal.Gunners' boss Arsene Wenger allowed Bentley to leave in 2006 having loaned him out to Norwich for a season.Bentley made just one appearance for Arsenal in six years with the club and the 23-year-old is keen to go to Tottenham - and may even do so for less money he would have got by staying at Ewood Park. Rovers do not want to lose Bentley so quickly after appointing Paul Ince as manager, but the potential cash windfall will help him rebuild quickly.Bentley and Robinson should be cleared to speak to their prospective employers once Levy and Williams sort out their terms.Blackburn are due to fly to Germany on Wednesday but Bentley should be gone by then while Robinson, 28, is out in the cold at Tottenham and just desperate to talk over a move. LS
Everyone knows we'll get a new DM.Zokora will then get moved into cover for center backs as he plays better there than Dawson, Chimbo and Kaboul. Three players who probably won't be at the club anyways.

Rsonist
Tigers boss Phil Brown met the 29-year-old defender and called the deal off there and then because Rocha did not meet the manager's height requirements. Bizarrely, Brown hoped that Portuguese would have the presence to stand up to Hull's expected battering this season.
