Bentley would have been fairly regular last season if he stayed.

Bentley played well yesterday cos he was up against Nzogbia, who is not a natural defender. Free kick was sweet though. Bet he wont play like that next week.

lol. I think he is a good player, not great or world class by a long shot. I think in a top 4 side he would look distinctly average. He definately would not make the starting XI at any top 4 club or any top club in europe. To answer your question i don't think his movement is brilliant (mainly due to lack of pace), i think his ball retention isn't great, trys far too many long balls, his goals to games ratio ain't great (maybe excluding this season) and he is an arrogant c*nt (probably the real reason i don't like him). His main problem in my opinion is that some games, u wouldn't know whether he is there or not. If he was foreigner nobody would rate him as highly.

His movement is vry good still, always makes space for himself in wide positions, can go either way and has a good partnership with Emerton down the right.He has the ability to play in the free role, where he utilizes the space between the opositions midfield and defenceTechnique is brilliantTurn of pace is decent and dribbling skills are great, plus the lads final ball is very goodAll this top 4 player stuff is air newayz, and only applies to Cesc, Rooney, Gerrard etc those main players.
