It's crazy how the whole of London will grind to a complete halt when we get 1 inch of snow on the ground. Roads gridlocked, trains not running, schools, businesses and everything shut coz nobody can get anywhere.I was in NY in 2003 when they had 17 inches of snowfall OVERNIGHT.. blizzard type sh*t. The snowploughs came out, sheepskin coats zipped up, everyone wrapped the chains on their wheels, and life carried on as normal.It was amazing to see how completely unprepared London is for any extreme of weather

To be honest it would cost a lot to do all that for what, 2 days of snow?The cost would probably be more than the loss we take now.
