Barcelona have reportedly made Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger their top target to replace Frank Rijkaard.Reports emanating from Spain suggest Barca chiefs have targeted Wenger as the man to take charge at Camp Nou, should Rijkaard leave the club this summer.Rijkaard's future at Barca has been the subject of intense speculation over the last few months after an indifferent season to date.Barca currently trail Real Madrid by eight points in La Liga and if they fail to win the title, Rijkaard is expected to be axed. The likes of Jose Mourinho and Marco van Basten have been mentioned as possible candidates for the job, but Catalan daily El Mundo Deportivo claims Wenger is the preferred choice of the Barcelona board.Barca president Joan Laporta and vice president Ferran Soriano are known to be big admirers of Wenger and believe the Frenchman is the right man to replace Rijkaard.Arsenal would resist any move to lure Wenger away from North London and the Frenchman only signed a new three-year deal at the Emirates last September.

yaya needs to shush, just because he wanted to play with his brother (no incesto) but never got signed. Wenger would sign for barca then tell Y.Toure that he don't want/need him again! If wenger ever did join barca then it would be a wrap. Imagine wengers track record with kids and add barcas pulling power of the best latin talent (OH BOY).

Cesc Fabregas has revealed that he is in talks with Arsenal about extending his stay at Emirates Stadium. The 20-year-old put pen-to-paper on an eight-year contract extension with The Gunners in 2006. But reported interest from Spanish giants Barcelona and Real Madrid has failed to die down, with the duo regularly expressing their interest in signing the midfielder. Furthermore, reports emanating from Spain earlier this week suggesting that Barca chiefs have targeted Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger as the man to take charge at Camp Nou has led to talk of Fabregas heading to Spain with his current manager. However, Fabregas has once again moved to deny rumours of a transfer back to his homeland, while revealing that talks are underway over a new deal. Renegotiating "I have contract in force until 2014, I have six years remaining and I am talking with my club, who are interested in renegotiating it," Fabregas told Cadena Ser. "I want to succeed at Arsenal and [the fact] that the club wants me is fundamental for me. "I am proud [to be linked to Barcelona], I am from Barcelona and I have played there. "But now I only think of winning as many titles as possible here [at Arsenal]." Fabregas has tallied 30 appearances for The Gunners so far this season, scoring an impressive 12 goals from midfield
