Chelsea manager Avram Grant is confident money will not be an issue as he eyes a busy summer in the transfer market.Blues owner Roman Abramovich is keen for Chelsea to become a major force both at home and abroad and Grant has been charged with delivering a combination of successful and eye-catching football. But the Blues boss is convinced he will be handed a hefty transfer kitty at the end of the season by Abramovich."We know the vision of the club and the money won't be a problem if we find good players to bring here," said Grant."So you could say £80 million or £100 million but we don't have the advantage that we had two or three years ago."We know that Manchester United will spend a lot of money and Arsenal will buy a few players as well as Liverpool. We will do the same. We want to improve."
Cant even see him being there next season but if he is then i can see lots of players leaving such as..DrogbaSWPMaloudaBen HaimSchevaThen 50/50 for these players to be there next seasonLampardPizzaroCarvalhoHe will need more then 100million to replace them imo....Hopefully they will have a transitional season next year and flop....

He's asking for money like he's going to be there in July.Next season could be the downfall of Chelsea. Drogba's irreplaceable and the few who can fit his spot will never go to Chelsea. I feel sorry for Anelka, still say he should of went to Old Trafford. Arsenal could do with Malouda, Ben Haim to Newcastle, Wright-Phillips back to City.

he wouldn't be given 100 mil like that he would need to sell first. They should give him a chance because this aint his squad its still mourinhos. I would guess the likes of Ben Haim, Ferierra, Malouda, SWP, Sheva and Drogba are gone.

Chelsea manager Avram Grant wants to bring Kaka and Lionel Messi to Stamford Bridge. The Blues boss has already pledged to spend big in this summer's transfer market and has now made the unusual step of naming two of his top targets.Milan ace Kaka is the current World Player of the Year, while gifted young Argentina international Messi regularly lights up Camp Nou with his stunning displays for Barcelona.Grant has struggled to win over sections of the sceptical Chelsea support who feel he has failed to match up to the standards set by Jose Mourinho. The Israeli's only realistic hope of silverware this season now appears to be the UEFA Champions League, with an enthralling clash with Premier League rivals Liverpool on the horizon.Monday's 1-1 home draw against Wigan left Chelsea five points adrift of Manchester United in the Premier League title race, and Grant has vowed to act ahead of next season.Flair playerHe told the Daily Star: "We need to do something. We want to be more consistent and of course I need players who can help with this."Will it take a flair player like Kaka or Messi? I will not reject that one of those names will be here."Will they come? I think so, yes. This is a big club."He added: "Only one team can win the Champions League. Only one team can be champions of England."You think players will only come to these two teams? No."It's not about how many players - it's about which player you can bring. We want a different style of football. If a player is good for this, we want to take him."I am already planning. We're speaking about it all the time for the long and short-term."
