Trilliam Posted August 24, 2008 Report Share Posted August 24, 2008 though it's almost expected with agereally big thing tbh cause i mean it's not like these guys are in their late teens anymore having no real life responsibilities and getting to hang about in studio all day doing sets for the love of the music, that initial bliss period has past right I mean these guys are young adults, no matter how much you love something if it's not paying you eventually you have to go where the monies gone, you guys are saying that if they go back to the way things where; sets on a regular basis, instrumental cds, vinyls and stuff to reboot interest and get a grime rave scene going, yeah maybe in the long run that will work but short term there ain't really gonna be so much success because the scenes been neglected for so long there ain't really a market in them things. I mean this new generation of youngers is coming through and some of them are good but they're already clocking the olders putting mixtapes first priority so they're gonna do that as well. Same way Wiley doesn't turn up to stuff randomly, cos he doesn't worry a huge deal day to day about money it would seem.But when some MCs are trying to get into the serious business side of music they see spitting on a set as too much like hard work for not enough reward.
