House isn't a form of dance music, is that what you're saying?People don't go to these raves and get lost in the music?Enlighten me to what happens differently in "your" raves. I obviously have never been to Hysteria or One Nation for example.I'm not getting at you by the way. Just helping.*edit*Exactly @ Sir M12 and Sir Piff

There's no vibe in Bassline raves according to Spiderman, nobody skanks :P
oi.y u callin my name for fam, dats twisting my arm lol.i never sed ders no "vibes" in a bassline rave, all ive sed is bassline as music doesnt bring much depth to me n doesnt do much for me.im pretty sure ders vibes of some form cos its an active music scene, i.e. ders new tunes and dj's are rising, etc.house music IS a form of dance music, well its origins come from a dance music structure...but its grown so much since it first came and its got sooo much diversity within it, its almost partially segregating bits of itself. obviously ders house raves that cover the broad range, but ders a big commercial side of house which they play at nearly every kind of club night. also all the sub divisons make it vary across the spectrum...like if u went to an electro night, its got a completely different vibe to say a funky house night.imo house has both clubbing nights and rave nights. its a bit of a wierd one lol.house music is definately the most predominant in the world in terms of the dance music genres.

also garage DID have raves, until mainstream pressure and bussinesses tried to capitalise and as the music went to cater for commercial ppl and nights were oversaturated with generic garage nights that were tryna live off the rep of the raves that had gone.u might get the odd night that feels rave-ish at times, but its long gone its just lookin back at the past.most if garage nights nw are just commercial clubbin nights, where they play the same old selection of flowers, shanks n big foot, etc etc.

ye see this is the impression i get from what ive seen/heard about funky raves, that ders dis clubbin element to it.i cant really say tho cos ive never been to a full on funky night, and the closest i came to it was at the rinse ting but that was sum mash up mixed night so i dnt think that counts lol.some of the tunes are quite ravey from what ive heard, but the majority sounds a bit like chill out/jamming music.sometimes the music gives me a similar feel to like the 2 step garage at the end of the whole garage ting, all the rnb influenced stuff. all that ended up giving a clubbing vibe at the nights, so i guess dats what makes me assume some funky does that.

To me ravers are for specialist fans, clubs are full of pop fansFrom theres nothing but commercial music that Sarah from Shropshire knoows from MTV Base and Kiss then its a club. If she's baffled by whats going on for 90% of the night then its a rave IMODem outdoor, under bridge illegal shoobs that used to happen in the Happy House days are few and far between these days so you cant say just because of the genre whether its a club or rave to me. Saying that, I dont think you can rave to HH, RnB and I doubt you can rave to Indie. Not a contradiction, just a clarification. The tempo of that music doesnt leave for off your face raving

I know what ur saying rite here, not drawing the chick part lol, but agree with what ur trying to get across. Hench y i like DnB raves, u can wear what eva u like but still make the effort to look good! Vibes are good and ppl are going 2 rave, Dizzeled or not. Its just l8ly kids are gettin in2 des places n trying to ruin it 4 others, but most people are going 4 1 reason, and thats to have a good time n hear them banging tunes that get ur body skanking to the b-line differently, and make u do ur bassface wen ya hear ur tune. :) To me that is a good rave!
