oh pleaserachel has been consistently sh*tshe should have went weeks ago
Are you going 2 seriously say that that performance was not better than that little white girl. It's obvious that this is a popularity contest much moreso than a talent show.Real black music is not popular over here.
Tbh with you "that little white girl" has a name and it is Diana. This competition is not just about 'black music' but music of diverse influences. I rated Rachel because she has soul, what's the point supporting her when it is jus based on her having the same skin colour as yourself? It kind of insults her talents.I appreciate what you are saying but please think. Would you like it if someone said "that little black boy".?

i called her the little white girl as i DIDN'T know her name. Thanks for telling me.I don't support her exclusively because she is black. i support her music and the voice and soul that is singing her music. im pointing ou that Black music will never get represented in this country that is all, and it is evident when you watch these shows.

People say this all the time but in much more harsher ways, and no i don't appreciate it. it wasnt a race thing, i was merely identifying her.

sorry but its true that black music doesnt get supported enough, but you're talking about RACHEL!she really just doesnt have the talent to deserve all this praise, there are so many amatuers out there on myspace that DONT hit flat notes every other wordplus alexandra is still in the competition and she can SING, and she's pretty, and has a nice personality

Im not saying that she has performed consistently well, i just think it's a shame when talent isnt the over riding factor when it comes to deciding these peoples fate.Because this is more a test of nerves than anything.Anyway i made my point, this country isnt ready for real soulful music and real black music. Real singers, real talent.

I think black music is more than represented in this country. But saying this, you cannot dominate diversity and expect to take over every market by forcing EVERYONE to like black music first. Tbh, I think more people would recognise the music if it was promoted as music instead of the skin colour of where it originated. It is the emotion that is important and the way that the person connects and tells the story that makes the music so beautiful. Not the colour of flesh that will soon waste away, just as our body's will when we age.

We don't need 2 have a lesson in history 2 know wh the state of music is in the state it is in.Cause and effect. There is a reason why black music is identified as black music and its initially not because we want to stand up and say it BLACK MUSIC.We know that is music 1st and foremost. And yes everyone has their own tastes, im not forcing anyone to like it. I fully understand and respect the othjer contestants and what they bring. But we all know why they are popular and the agenda behind why things are the way they are.

And this is pretty much it.This is why music has been so swag and the reason why contemporary music cannot test or even come close to OLDER music and that's why all they do now are these fake-emotional cover songs. There are Rachels all over place but they will never reach their dreams because of image and the people that control and own the market. And also, because of people for the way they buy in to the market.I wanna hear music. It is something that is to be listened to and not seen. That's why I disagree with it being called 'black' because I think that music is a gift from God and God would not put a single colour down on it when it should not be visible at all!

i think this country is ready for real soulful music, but its about having the x factor i.e. the complete package and being likeable
Not really, because personally i know when i was young and listening to mums records, and sh*t, when black people wenrt on Tv as much as they are now, i like the songs and music due to what i could hear.f*ck this complete package stuff, to hear and feel the value of music that sh*t is not necessary.

most rappers are 90% image 10% lyricspeople rate certain rappers purely for their swagger i.e. dipset, giggz, lil wayneso you can say that looks or personality dont mean anything, because then why would people spend so much time and money perfecting it?
Im not saying it doesnt mean or shouldn mean anything because i understand that the people who put out the music are only there for the money, their agenda isnt to give us the best musical product etc.so i understand that.Im just saying its a shame for those who make and value real musical talent because we wont get catered for as much becasue they dont fit certain images ieToo fatNot kid friendly etc etcYo get the pictureBut look at amy winehousethat sanother kettle of fish though.

Another thing Simon and the judges keep doing that I find to be hypocritical is that they say 'We will judge this person based on the final performance' and then when making a decision Simon goes 'well, I have to choose the person that has been consistent and who I think will go far'. Which is it?
im glad other ppl see this, unfortunately aloota clueless ppl out there man. who were u before btw
