Em Dott Posted June 24, 2009 Report Share Posted June 24, 2009 Handed out bare CVs today.Was alright. Had couple store workers basically giving man the eyes so I reckon good words are getting put in. Thought it would be waste, but it's cool.Also got a message from one company about my application for a trainee financial advisor. When I get some credit I will phone them back up and see what's going on.Hopefully my luck will change soon. Still need to complete the Post Office application. Day after I applied for it, got a call from the recruitment company handling it. Spoke to the consultant today, and he said basically I have it, but I have to complete one module of a CeFA qualification. After that (I'm doing a 2 week intensive course online) the bank that offers me the placement will pay for the rest of my studies. I am excited about it. Don't want to count my chickens before they ahve hatched, but from what I have been told, the only thing they are waiting for are me to get my module 1 completed so they can take me on. Experience in Financial Services wasn't necessary, but some interest to a certain degree.
