people saying its media hype are talking a bit of rubbish. there has never been a situation like this in the world...regardless of the comparisons to the depression of the 30's in the US..far less was at stake then...same applies to the uK. its not all doom and gloom but this is one bust that will create things that have never happened before. such problems affect mainly the middle income families but then these make up 60% of the western economiesyou probably dont get how bad the housing market fall is in the states... where you have entire streets with houses up for sale, and some even putting signs saying " pls call NOW..quick sale available"!the ones who wont be seriously affected are the ones who receive govt aid for most things anyway..or have little or no savings or assets so as long as they work their little 9-5s or $10/hr jobs and can get a lil credit they wont be really affected, nor will the upper %age of people who can cushion the blow with liquid assets and investments.. but middle income people will suffer the most.. if it all goes pants then the UK will suffer the most, cos when personal debt (not including mortgages) is more then the GDP..and more than west europe combined...by just 65million people...is a serious case of :mj::rofl:

Basic info for you lot and your fam... I work at Nationwide and if you or your rents have lots of money in accounts make sure that its either Nationwide or Abbey National...If you or your fam got accounts in Lloyds, Barclays, And other highstreet banks or building societys then make sure your budget is £35,000... No more because your only insured for that much... If something would happen your only will get upto that much...
