Usually I would think it's cheaters, I notice it when its cheaters i get lag when I come towards their box, and then once they clear it away, but this is constant lag, and 3 times in a row now. I'm not even playing anymore i give up on this game enthusiasms gone, i just put the pad down after half time, dont know why I did that instead of quitting coz now the scores like 9-1 lol, but I don't even care. f*ck this sh*t.Had enough I swear. Retiring from 1 on 1s for now.*Waits for everyone to finish their dissertations and whatnot* ...Need to jump back on clubs.Almost feel like putting in SF4. Guest Wavelength Posted April 23, 2009 Report Share Posted April 23, 2009 I PROPER HEAR THAT, NO LIE, this game can depress me.JUST NOW, this guy picks LA Galaxy, I pick Arsenal so he quits.*Ranked quick match*Same guy, picks LA Galaxy again, I thought f*ck it easy win, lemme draw for Romania and catch him slippin'.Start the match now, guy is playing 5 at the back but with a sweeper and a DM sitting infront of the 4, virtually 6 at the back.NO MIDFIELD then a few guys upfront.But I clocked when he had the ball and couldn't get it back in time.Carried on playing and hit the post twice, thought llow it. Early goal kills his tactic.Ended up scoring 10mins later but he kept the same tactics.Was so long I'd do like 25 passes in his half, get an opening then the slightest misjudgement, he is counter attacking.SO WASTE.Won 1-0 but the possession was ridiculous, shot count too and I didn't enjoy playing.Llow not recreating some sort of art of realistic football when playing this game, bare Rugby style formations and playing style.Portuguese Alex, I've played and I remembered him straight away so he probably bumped me too. M.Dot Posted April 23, 2009 Report Share Posted April 23, 2009 Know the feeling when you're trying to cut them open with intelligence, they get the ball, give it to the forward and it's Right Analogue all the way.Them dumb formations annoy me, but worse is when they start with a normal formation, go 1-0 up then next time they get the ball they pause it and thats when they change to one of them formations.Not some shady style sweeper, I see 8 in the back line on the radar.Joke is I hardly ever lose to these guys. Too much space in midfield for me to pick out a pass through to the strikers. Llow not recreating some sort of art of realistic football when playing this game, bare Rugby style formations and playing style.This is what I don't get.Yesterday I bet some guy playing my normal game, I like to make it as creative as possible, varying passes etc... not just through ball straight up to Ade/RVP and run.He was passing straight out the defence to eto'o as direct as possible 1 or 2 passes, laying it off and making him run then playing the ball over the top for him to chase.Or ground through ball > analogue sprint straight towards goal even if theres no opening.And other things like the corner glitch.He then messaged me saying 'Most boring player'.These man don't know football.Yeh portuguese alex, dunno about you but I got bare lag, feel differently f*cked over right now, like the last time I played SF(which I haven't touched since). The LA Galaxy guy I just beat did a similar thing..Sent me a message saying, "Rematch, don't run away."Then a next 1 saying, "Oh dear, another child online."Followed by a third saying, "WOW, you beat LA Galaxy with a lucky goal.."The way he's actually serious makes me laugh, like say he didn't have 31% possession. The way I was thinking, 1 goal is all I needed.Some guy just lagged himself out of the game, the lag started 2nd half and half way through he got disconnected. :lol:Should happen everytime they tamper with the connection TBH.This is why I always ask people on here for a game.-Nobody lags on purpose.-Nobody bar Yoshie plays unrealistic, gay formations-Playing styles are open but varied, which makes a more enjoyable match win or lose.The Barca/Eto'o guy you described is how ALL Liverpool players play against me with Torres and Gerrard.It makes me laugh cause I couldn't play such a basic style if I tried. Trim Posted April 23, 2009 Report Share Posted April 23, 2009 game pisses me off more each time i play it but every so often u get a sick match against someone decent. too many of them f*cked up formations + 1 dimensional play + people looking to exploit every single glitch is what kills the game off for me. - what dan described with eto'o- lofted through balls all game long - the right thumbstick business- time wasting - backpost corners - quitters all these things kill off the motivation, and its not even just the fact they do them its also when the sh*t works. how do people enjoy playing like that, just seems boring to me. i try to play a passing game every match and look for openings, some games i just f*ck about but thats normally when im trying stuff or tired. cant stress how much some sh*t pisses me off though, its all i can do to stop myself throwing the pad at something because i hate the fact everyone loves to jump on the cheap goals bandwagon the second someone exposes a glitch/ way to score a cheap goal, and what makes it worse, they always have an excuse as to why its not (in their opinion) cheap Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
