some good and what could have been bad news....

these man have found an expolit that downloads yours SMS folder when u visit the exploit site on safari..... theyve passed the info on to apple now so a new firmware should be around the corner...

this also creates the possibility for a jailbreak by visiting a site in safari.... which u could do back in iphone v1 days

youre gonna have to wait for OS4 tbh,

the dev teams wont risk releasing any exploits for the new baseband this late in case apple patch it for the OS 4 release

The jailbreak is all software based, and is as simple to use as blackra1n. It is completely untethered, works on all current tethered models(ipt2, 3gs, ipt3), and will probably work on iPad too.

Don't ask about a release date. You won't make it happen any sooner
