I am trying to defend myself a bit without giving names. Otherwise I'm taking it all (the blame). I'm 31, the player is six years younger than me.
This is the part of it that I think's out of order.
See I dont. I actually think it was the smartest thing he could do...See van Persie gets away with a HELL of a lot cos he Robin... Gallas has very smartly but deviously now thrown light on him, van Persie now has to react in the right way and if Robin is being a problem round the club, yet you know the club cant afford to lose him, the fans love him, yet nobody can get in his head in the club, then what else option was there? He aint a yute no more, he's 26 & TBH to not have Robin thru injuries is one thing but to lose him cos of stupid red cards like Stoke, its a disgrace, and its bait van Persie openly never use to listen to Gallas "team-talks" infact he use to show his contempt at them.
How can a man who spends more time with the physio hold so much power and influence tho? I dont get it. A dude that doesnt play games could never be taken seriously by me if I was a player. When I heard a player had been causing problems in the changing rooms I instantly thought Fab was parring guys, then I read the quote with the age and couldnt think who it could be. Raper by van Persie you know SMH

Right see I think some of the media have brainwashed you, and a lot of you are being swayed by our anti-Gallas hate... At first I nearly did then I broke down what he actually said, rather than have a newspaper do it for me...
When, as captain, some players come up to you and talk to you about a player...complaining about him... and then during the match you speak to this player and the player in question insults us, there comes a time where we can no longer comprehend how this can happen."
Whether this is truth or not, do you reallllllly think this is an acceptable thing to say to the media??Come on now this is a joke, how can he be chucking indirects in the public domain. If you got problems, keep schtum init. He has either f*cked up, or is making weak excuses, wither way not acceptable.Dont try defend him

there is no real captain material in our squad to replace gallasand he hasn't done what captains should do in numerous situationsit's the fact gallas tried to shift some of the blame on other players that takes the pisshe was sly in certain ways and he shouldn't be going on like thatif he just explained about the stuff @ HT and the disagreements/bust ups, then i would see it differentlybut either then, why come out with it AT this timewhy not after the game it happened?would he have mentioned it if we beat villa and/or stoke?you're crediting gallas too much if you really think he intended for it to be a master stroke and benefit the teamwenger needs to speak up tooif gallas gets removed as captain we will know he was only thinking of himself and was out of orderour next few games will be really interesting if they don't go our way

Wenger is a utter wanker. Can't believe him. Gallas has done so much worse and he rode with him.and I said at the end of last season if Almunia gets the number 1 shirt , I'll stop going games, but I still went, if Almunia is made captain I refuse to go to any game with him skippering my team, no f*ck*ng way.

William Gallas has been stripped of the Arsenal captaincy and will not play against Manchester City, according to Sky Sports News sources. Gallas spoke of unrest in the Arsenal camp on Thursday and also revealed details of a bust-up during half-time in the recent 4-4 draw with Tottenham.A number of former players have been quick to criticise Gallas for the outburst and it now appears as though Arsene Wenger has acted quickly to discipline the Frenchman. It is understood that Gallas, who was handed the armband at the start of last season, will not travel with the rest of the squad ahead of Saturday's game at Man City.Reports suggest that goalkeeper Manuel Almunia will lead out the side.story
