Mind you sometimes you know your body isn't going to perform like when you go out running you might have done 8 miles one week ago but start feeling like you wont get home over 4 miles. Shogun is killing me man, This is not the pride Shogun, in fact we haven't seen that Dhogun since he joined the UFC. maybe the claims of rampant drug use and gimme fights aren't as far from the truth as I hoped. I don't even think the injuries are a great excuse anymore Gutted. Machida deserves the shot fully though, only man to really test Jones. Medic Posted August 5, 2012 Report Share Posted August 5, 2012 Yeah, I was expecting better. His cardio was shot after two rounds, you can't beat Jones if your getting gassed so easily. Have to give Vera credit, had nothing to lose, and he put on a great show. Glad Machida is getting the title shot, however I still don't think he will beat Jones. Machida should drop to middleweight, he weighed in at 201 yesterday, making 185lbs would be no problem. Jones is getting bigger and bigger, the size difference will play a major factor once again.
