Nicklas Bendtner has been fined by the Club for his behaviour after Tuesday night’s Champions League Semi-Final defeat against Manchester United, which manager Arsène Wenger has described as “not acceptable”. The Danish striker, who came on after 63 minutes of the 3-1 reverse, was photographed leaving a nightclub in the early hours of Wednesday morning with his jeans pulled down. “I was angry but he has been set up — somebody waiting with the camera, somebody pulled his pants down,” Wenger said. “People make the story that he was drunk. He was not drunk. I fined him because he should not have gone out. What I like with Bendtner is that he is honest enough and fair enough and intelligent enough to realise he made a mistake.”
