Lampard does not lack technical ability , you wally @ topic maker.
Allow it, don't talk sh*t and get off his d*ck.He scores one left footer after some clumsy turn that isn't deflected and man's got great technical ability... SEEN.Even man admits himself that he hasn't got great tecnhical ability, he grafts and that Rooney and Joe Cole are strides better, now take off your blue tinted shades and sit back down.
SMHDefinitely don't watch football properly/understand much about it.Lampard is infinitely more technical than you would like to think. You do know dribbling/stepovers aren't the only technical aspects of football? How can you compare one of the great world midfielders over the last 10 years to Joe Cole. Joe Cole is a Championship footballer compared to Lampard, he shouldn't be allowed to be mentioned in the same breath as him. Lampard has no technique? The average forummer here is a joke. Especially the bit in bold, how can people regularly get away with making these type of comments on here?
LOL YET AGAIN.... At thinking I said Joe Cole was more techincal, as I said before and I'll say it again your own wonderboy Frank Lampard said it himself. Joe Cole is more skillful but I've said before I don't rate him that highly, technical ability involves a little more than just skill, everyone knows that, it's already been said.AND YET AGAIN, the comparisons are against Xavi and Iniesta. AND ALSO AGAIN there is a difference between no technical ability and lacking technical ability as in, in comparison Lampard gets sh*t on. All you read was Joe Cole's name and your hate for him overlooked everything else. It's subjective you know...WHY THE f*ck AM I EVEN REPLYING?

I dont watch Chelsea every week in and out, so I wouldnt be the best judge, however on his best days IMO Joe Cole is something that very few English players are. Now I could sit here and list words like skill, technique, first touch, vision, creativity, imagination etc... but someone will challenge it, so simples... What seperates him IMO, is he has the imagination to see the pass and the ability to perform it and at times you can tell his brain is way ahead of his opposition, it sounds like I'm swinging from his nuts and Cole is far from that guy or the finished product of what he should be, but he is a player IMO who you could watch all the videos of him you want prior but if he turns it on, you still ain't seeing him despite how good you are. I know someone is going to bring up Lampard's goals, smh...Anyway these are the reasons why Joe Cole tends to be one of the few players that shines for England in major tournaments/games IMO... He's unpredictable and I dont mean in the Walcott/Adebayor way, but cos he has that x factor even if its a small case x.

Please post these quotes from him that you keep referring too and we can determine how serious those comments are to your argument. And Lampard has great passing ability long and short. His awareness is 1st class, his shooting technique is world class. I don't get why you keep saying he's not as good as certain players. Everybody has a different style, 1 style of football does not equal a right style.

You must be talking about another Joe Cole because that couldn't be any further from his actual ability as a footballer. It's crazy how his stock grows with every 6 month injury he gets.

It was in some interview with BBC Sport I was reading a while back where he was talking about he has to work harder than everyone else, he trains a lot more etc.Lampard is a very good player, I've never doubted that but I'm saying the crop of English players, even our best whether it be Lampard, Gerrard (including Rooney and I'm a Man Utd fan) just don't seem to have it, they get made to look ordinary when up against Spain's finest or France etc.The topic was made out of sheer frustration that though an English club has reached the CL final in each of the last 5 years we still aren't what we're made out to be.

I just think English kids are spoilt. They don't seem as motivated to push themselves as foreign kids.
While I agree, when I look at the surnames of some of the English players in the Arsenal academy for example and see - Frimpong, Afobe, Boateng, Yennaris, Monakana, Aneke, Ansah (apparently yes its Andy's son), Neita etc... It just makes me think England gonna end up having "foreign" kids reppin it anyway cos I'm sure its like that at other clubs too.
I think this guy is going to be something else when he gets older

The difference is.....Spanish players actually make it through into top Spanish teams' starting XI. English players rarely make it into top English teams from their own academy.
one thing i think that sets us apart is the difference in the second stringthe standard of football that barcelona B play is very different to when Arsenal reserves play against Charlton Reserves.IMO it would only be equal if our reserves could play in league 1 or the championship and thats never going to happen
