First of all never ever shake your polish, we all do it naturally but that causes bubbles so just hold it upright and roll between your hands.Make sure you use a base coat and let it dry, wet upon wet can drag and cause air. Keep away from fans, drafts etc while drying and some say keeping the varnish in the fridge helps. If your nails are ridged use a ridge filler base to provide a smooth surface (no gaps for air to trap). Dont drag your nail varnish over too many times, try and use 3 clean strokes.

Is,it just me or is collection 2000s brush shite, its too big imo. One of the best high street polishes is no7 imo. Dries so quickly, not much variation in colour though but that's where Barry m comes in.

I find collection 2000 brushes to be a bit too big aswell, i got 2 colours last week, one which looked like a dark blue/purple in the bottle but on the nail it just looks like a dark blue and doesnt really suit me, the other one is a pink called 'Dynasty' looks a bit like strawberry milkshake, i LOVE the colour but i end up accidently putting so much on in one go that it starts flaking off after about 2 days, will keep using it though as the colour is lovely.Another nail varnish i got last week (been buying lots recently) was Barry M in 019 Pure turquoise, really nice summery colour and doesnt stain my nails either :D

thats it really, they are good colours for the summer and cheap enough so you can get the lot without breaking the bank, but the wear you get out of them does reflect the price lol. Theres a couple more i want to get, i need to replace my bright pink Barry M aswell as its run out, as have a few of my Rimmel ones that i favour. I have been looking round recently for some new interesting colours, i always end up buying a different shade of pink lol

i bought the maybelline falsies mascara, i love it! it will be my new staple mascara. i am looking for a translucent powder now though as my face gets a bit shiny in the summer, i normally use cornsilk but they've discontinued it, bastards.

I am LOST without my Maybelline volume express mascara. Its drying out and living on its last legs. Funniest thing is I have two other Rimmel ones I could use/ do use to seperate and add volume but its not the same :(Roll on pay day need a pedicure. Could actually do it myself but nah lol. Also, was thinking about getting Acrylics but the after effects will be shocking dunno if I can handle it.

I gave in Natalie, acrylics are just so easy for summer. My nails wernt doing great and i was sick of them splitting and not looking nice even with a pretty polish.Im gonna keep them going for summer and then try and build my natural nail strength back up..

Gel, acrylic, fiberglass, silk etc its all the same thing but with one being more abrasive than the other.Just took an acrylic off my nail (was practicing on myself). The thought about getting the whole set done has totally left my mind now. Also, I really want eyelash extensions, qb I read your horror story but I still want to go on lol.
