Still got the original screen protector and a case which covers the surround and back, so not a single mark on the phone.

But it’s not just Sony’s Xperia Z that can’t handle the elements. Other smartphone manufacturers have been peddling waterproof devices that are also turning out to be less than they seem. Samsung’s Galaxy S4 Active is a great example. The water-resistant phone is supposed to be so tough that it can even handle snapping photos underwater.

 

But several users of the Galaxy S4 Active have reported glitches with the phone after getting it wet. What’s worse is that Samsung doesn’t even cover water damage in its S4 Active warranty, despite the fact that it encourages users to submerge the thing in water.

Don't see why no one wants to release a good smaller phone. Like HTC One has nice width but its still too tall. I want a decent new Android phone at iPhone 4 height.

i'd just prefer a phone I can use comfortably with one hand, though by the trend it does seem I won't find a high-spec one to suit my preference

Nexus 4 is a good size imo
