ye co-sign that. sure middle age is dull and you fully got all the responsibilities of an adult, but the transition stage between youth and adulthood is way too uncertain. of course everyone would rather stay young and care free but as the responsibilities start piling up and lifestyle starts shifting you reach a point where you just want it to hurry up and be done with. rather than this slow death of your youth with parts of it lingering, it leaves some people proper confused and some fail to realise that they shud grow up and drag their youth on.

:Y: @ What he said

basically sums up me turning 25 in couple months tbh

only worry about the things you CAN change.

I hate these bullshit, clichéd mantras that people churn out like this.

So many situations where it doesn't apply that it's a meaningless turn of phrase.

u are on record as being utterly stupid and ignroant of nearly everything

so having a problem with a REALTALK statement like i said is not surprising.

yes, cliched doesnt mean its outdated u f*ck*ng dufus.

worry only about what you can change means dont worry about the things you cant change.

it means IF U HAVE A PROBLEM YOU'RE WORRYING ABOUT THEN GET UP YOUR f*ck*ng ARSE AND DO SOMETHING TO TAKE YOU TO A BETTER PLACE/STATE OF MIND.

having a 'mid _____' crisis is also a stupid cliche people churn out

live ur life.

I'm 23, nearly 24.

Finished uni and came straight to work, been at the same place the whole time.

I really wished I'd gone travelling or taken some time out. I'm tired.

I can relate to too many of those points and I'm only 21 which is kinda scary.

I've spoken to too many people that feel the same way. When I graduate I'm just going to try and enjoy life a little.

Its like a period of transition, so whilst it may be an age where we should have the most fun/energy etc, it can be quite "daunting"/slow moving/frustrating etc.

That's the way I feel right now anyway.

*this may have little to do with the rest of the thread.
