Em Dott Posted February 20, 2011 Report Share Posted February 20, 2011 I do all of that and more when I remember where the buttons are. Mess around with the timing, you got ages to do everything. The sooner you play matches the better. You'll learn everything a lot faster playing someone else rather than practicing by yourself. Best thing to do in my opinion is learn 2 or 3 BnBs with each character, 1 max damage with meter, without and one that gives you some kind of advantage after or during combo - positioning, reset opportunity etc. I spent most of my time learning nonsense in training mode. I call it that because it'll never be done in a game like this where you can do the same piss easy combo twice and win. Because of that I can't play the game and lose to FOB's. Yeah, I just wanted to get my execution up properly before rushing into matches which is what I did before and ended up hating the game at first. Barney Stinson Posted February 20, 2011 Report Share Posted February 20, 2011 There are so many things wrong with playing online at the moment, i'm guessing there will be a patch for spectator mode, cos 8 man lobbies is ridiculous without it, and I can't even connect to any matches without going to training and turning on fight request, and why the f*ck can people rage quit AFTER you've already won the match. Lolwat...? Capcom flopped with the online. After the success of SSF4 surely you would keep the same format... Also GG's Mixer, Grim and Gundam. spiderman Posted February 20, 2011 Report Share Posted February 20, 2011 anyone care to break down how the online mode works for this? i always thought this game would be a bit flawed to play online based on marvel vs capcom 2. because if its got cable, iron man and war machine and you know how to use them, then you never need to get close to the enemey because you have guns and you can pretty much always win as the proton cannon gives out the most hits.
