Do you rate Dani Alves as one of the best in the world?
Of course people will tell you Maicon/Alves or Alves/Maicon but it doesn't matter about defensive ability then.

Yeah people on here cant accept we have some top players in our squad. We are lacking quality but Gerrard,Torres,Masch,Reina and Johnson along with possibly Agger can walk into 98% of the teams on this planet.We have the core but lack quality in the rest of the pitch. Just be truthful with yourselves and admit it.

PMSL @ mentioning Maicon, like he's some over-rated wingback.Guy is a beast when defending. Best all-round full-back in the world along with Evra.

can i just say....Johnson's defensive frailties are much more apparent at liverpool than Dani's at Barca
Yeah because they are set out differently tactically. Very differently. Also Johnson hasn't had many if any faults so far in a Liverpool shirt its mainly due to mistakes made by other players.

That wasn't my point, I was just saying who people say are the top 2 RB's in the world, focus on Alves not Maicon. Not calling any of over-rated, just saying the ratings are different when its a foreign player etc./We can't honestly be going into a world cup with Walcott as first choice winger, has to be Lennon.
