Not sure about in an online game because the lag used to f*ck up the power bar, but how I take them... -Power up the shot... -Choose direction of the shot once letting go of the power button -Let go of the direction after the players taken 4 steps. -If the bar was not in the green section, let go before the fourth step, maybe on the 3rd. In the world cup penalties training mode I used to do this with the target on and it pretty much always stayed inside of the posts. Not enjoying playing penalties after every match though. Felt very good, Keeper made some solid saves for me, I scored after like 1 Minute on my first attack but then I was controlling Villa. Everything felt pretty solid in it, impressed. Only played 1 game though. And had a shot at being a Keeper in the Arena, NICE!! Wouldn't mind stepping up during clubs and taking the Keeper role. Got comfy with the game last night started scoring in almost every game. Couldn't even score in open play when I first downloaded it, so I just started uploading everything until I ran out of space. Trim Posted September 16, 2010 Report Share Posted September 16, 2010 penalties are easy. havent played the WC game other than a few games on the demo so had no idea what i was doing at first, 3/4 of my pens were ending up like... the other 1/4 getting saved put the guide thing on in the arena though and u clock straight away how to take them. prefer it to the old way tbh, can put it exactly where you want it and makes it harder for opponent to save. I'm guessing you have to stop the bar in the green ( Which by the way it doesn't actually stop as soon as the button is pressed ) and even if your slightly outside of it the ball goes flying wide. But yea it probably will take some getting use too and should make it more interesting. in the arena set up a penalty (kick the ball into the pen area and press any direction on the dpad if u dnt already know) press the left trigger and use the blue aiming circle to learn how to take them. get used to the timing etc of the circle moving then you'll be able to do it without the circle. I looked at Arsenal and saw 30 positioning for Koscielny and 40 for Vermaelen. Sagna had 80 or something so I didn't get that but even now I still think WTF.
