interesting thread. i can understand the assumed uni snobbery, but there is some truth to it. perhaps people do need to aim higher and not be so concerned about not leaving 'the ends', when its YOUR life you're building, not your friends'. if you blagged your way into uni without being checked then it really IS questionable about the quality of learning.

uni's get paid in this country for the amt of students they take in, so the scandal of some unis just bunching loads of people just for the sake of getting higher funding isnt being snobbish, its FACT. i can understand using fake credentials, but to present none at all and just go by word of mouth speaks volumes about the uni.

and on the other side, its also a recurring trait on the forum for someone to have a problem with someone else not being as "regular" as him or her. some crabs in a barrel type mentality. the snobbery works both ways imo.

Tbh Angelo is an OK lad but I have noticed his snobbery and casual bragging from waaaaaay back.
