I think they could be, just need the right push.

Emelie Sande is having a lot of success right now, yes I know she is fair skin but I think it is more than that, even seeing a thickset lightskin black girl doing well is a rarity so I think things are going in the right direction.

I think she has got into the market the right way, features, writing, then came with the banger single and follow ups, she seems to have got the public on board.

I think there is a formula but most people don't come with a plan or the music.
