Some experts are saying his identity should be exposed if so because he is a high risk to children.

On one level the idea of rehabilitation is a good idea but in these cases and crimes not so much.

If you're a nonce. You will always return at some point to looking at that kind of stuff.

Even more scary is you get with a woman who doesn't know who you are or what you previously did.

The law really isn't built to deal with such unique cases like Venables, he really falls in to that grey area. The system is bound by it's own rules, but to forego those rules could lead us down some dark paths (see black mirror, white bear). I dunno what's really the right or the wrong answer, but the law shouldn't bend to the will of the mob, which is dictated by the will of the media.

Like Vertigo said a nonce is always going to be a nonce, so a better (realistic) solution than putting them back into normal society needs to be devised.

This was supposed to have come in awhile ago I'm sure, not sure what happened to the idea.

Not sure how people can just drop such throw away statements without actually understanding the magnitude of what transpired 

It was truly harrowing no matter how you looked at it

both kids were 10 years old at the time. Not sure how they can be condemned to life as they were just children.

Also it was the other one who was the main antagonist according to the case notes, and what about their parents? surely as legal guardians they should be held accountable too?
