Fresh
I have 1 out of 14 aunties that moved to Milan to persue a career in fashion, and now lives in Italy with an Italian. I call him Andrei, Uncle? Nah too weird It's not a race thing though, it's an upbringing thing, you have to have been around before my existence for me to call you aunty/uncle. You can't waltz in as Bernie, and become Uncle Bernie after the wed'n. No.

Wavant
EVERY Aff has that Uncle who was on the snowflake wave and couldn't break free from the glacial chokehold. Starts from their overseas studies, especially in Europe. I called my uncle's wife "Aunty" still. Been there from day 1, way before I existed. I still do tbf even after their divorce. She was good to me. (null)

Fighting Weight
Nah that wasn't directed at you, people who are told to call X aunty and uncle, are done so because it is respectful. So if they are going to not do so simply because a person is white that's a no-no imo, unless the white person feels uncomfortable about it and asks to be referred to as otherwise, but then I assume any person in a relationship with an African / Muslim person should know this and it wouldn't be an issue. Some have given names Sister Katherine Brother Michael (originating in church obv) Others by surname Mr Williams Miss Clarke Otherwise first name basis and avoid name-calling altogether.
