Gabriel Heinze admits he would consider joining Barcelona, but will not rush into a decision on his Manchester United future. The Argentina defender has been strongly linked with a summer exit from Old Trafford, with Real Madrid and Juventus also keen.Heinze is currently preparing for the Copa America and will not reach a decision on his future until after the tournament. But the former Paris Saint Germain stopper concedes he would give serious thought to any offer to link up with Barcelona."I know that some clubs are interested in me, but I have decided to leave this subject on stand-by for the moment," Heinze told the Sunday Mirror."My head is with the Argentina team to play the Copa America. After that tournament I will make decisions about my career."Barcelona is a super-club, like Manchester United. If a formal offer is tabled I'll need to study it calmly."Nobody at United has told me I'm not wanted next season. I know the rumours of transfer offers have appeared, but that's not a problem for me."I have just enjoyed one of the best years in my career. We have played sensationally, although it was a pain to fail in the Champions League semi-final against Milan."

Man Utd did win a cup this season, the most important title.*Looks at Liverpool 2007 trophy case.*02-10-04dnews-07s.jpgYou didn't really think this one through did you?biggrin.gif

Cos no1 will buy Silvestre.
Ofcourse someone out there is willing, he would slot in perfectly at a mid table club. Also if Heinze moves it would be majoritively due to the fact that he wants to play first team football.

Shouldn't let him go he's a big defender and can play at left back and centre back and can do a good job in both positions. He hasnt been that good this season but he was our best player a few season backs. Evra is better attacking wise and can actually defend aswell and attacking full backs suit our team more. Get rid of Sylvestre and keep Heinze but if he wants 1st team football nothing we can do but i would like him 2 stay

I prefer Heinze over Evra.If we manage to get him back to form he would shower for us again.Evra is a defensive liability and next season in terms of attacking Heinze ain't bad when compared to Evra and we will having alot of attacking options anyway with our new signings.
