Carpe_Deum Posted July 13, 2007 Report Share Posted July 13, 2007 ... so i was about to renew my norton subscription and clicked on the UK site. i saw my upgrade costs #42.60, norton 360 costs #54.99, and another one costs #45.00 (prices in pounds)then as i proceeded to the 'select' country and currency option to pay.. i said hmmm lemme check the US prices. then i saw that the same frigging upgrade would cost me $42.55, norton 360 TWO YEAR SUBSCRIPTION costs $109.50 or 52 pounds (what they are selling us here for ONE YR) and normal 360 costs $56. i cant see why we're being ripped off for something that you DOWNLOAD..THIS ISNT NO SHIPPING BUSINESS. anyways.. so i filled in family US address and then changed the country back to uk..but the new prices in pounds appeared in the download basket then i turned on pop up blocker, and changed the country back to US to get the new $ prices in the basket and address details belowfilled out UK address, and in the country option below i changed it back to UK to correspond to my address. bcos pop up blocker was on..the page cdnt refresh to go back to UK prices.proceeded to checkout ------------ received my download for Norton 360 in $ and saved 50 pounds by getting the 2 yr subscription. the end didnt i say earlier that friday the 13th is my lucky day.
