i just think hes lacked confidence this season because everyone knows hes not swag...hes not 16m quality but hes never swag...you can tell by his body language hes lacked confidence....hes come from a swag team full of swag players to a team that has some very good players so hes no longer the star of the show.... with high expectations from his price, which isnt his fault... all he did was score goals...

bent squanders too many chances 2 play regularly or start for a CL Teamand Tottenham are aiming to be a top 4 team, so why would we want to be putting ourselves out so one player can score a few more goals......therefore, spurs fans have as much right as ever to want bent to leave the club, especially if its for over £10million
What are you basing this on??At Charlton when he started games, his strike ratio was pretty goodI memba watching games, he did nuting for 76 minutes but scored in the 81st min
im basing it on watching games myselfwhen he fluffs a shot widewhen he takes an extra touch that means he gets tackledwhen he miscontrols a pass that should put him throughwhen he hasnt got the confidence to shoot & just dallys on the ball and misplaces a passlets not talk about Chalrton though, coz based on that logic Shevchenko is a world class striker

The Tottenham Hotspur coach flew to the Catalan capital on Monday with representatives from the Premier League side and held talks over a possible move for the Cameroonian striker, Marca state.A fee of €40m did not put Ramos off, instead it was Eto'o's desire to earn more than the €7m-a-year offered by Tottenham and when it was seen that there would be no room for negotiation, the talks were concluded. At Barcelona, the 27-year-old earns that sum as a basic package with the bonuses at Camp Nou meaning that a move to White Hart Lane would effectively see him taking a pay cut.Inter now seem to have the upper hand in any negotiations with Barcelona even though Eto'o has stated that he has no desire to leave the club this summer.Tottenham have been linked with various striker's with Real Zaragoza's Diego Milito being the latest after los Maños were relegated from the Spanish top flight. The powerful Argentinian would be seen as a direct replacement for Dimitar Berbatov should any move materialise due to their similar physique and style.

Just something I found. Tottenham have distanced themselves from reports linking the club with a bid for Barcelona striker Samuel Eto'o.Spanish sources have indicated the 27-year-old is considered surplus to requirements at the Nou Camp and Barcelona are trying drum up an auction.Spurs, who are likely to make a whole raft of overseas signings during the summer, have been regularly linked with the 2006 Champions League winner, who last season was competing for a place in the side with Ronaldinho, Thierry Henry and Lionel Messi, among others. There are also reports both Juande Ramos, the London side's Spanish manager, and Damien Comolli, their French sporting director, have had meetings with Eto'o's representatives - a claim firmly denied by Tottenham.Spurs were close to signing Eto'o five years ago when he was with Real Mallorca but the move broke down over financial terms. Since then he has scored 77 goals in 108 games for Barcelona but is no longer an automatic selection.A club source said: "The normal thing here is that when we sign a player we announce it but we don't comment at all on just speculation."A problem is that there is so much of it from so many sources that if fans keep reading this speculation they are in danger of being misled."Spurs, who have also been linked with a move for relegated Real Zaragoza's strikers Diego Milito and Sergio Garcia, will not comment either on suggestions Crystal Palace midfielder John Bostock, 16, is to join them later this week for an initial £500,000 after passing a medical. It is believed England Under-17 star Bostock, whose Palace contract is about to expire, is the subject of advanced negotiations between the two London clubs, which could result in Spurs paying up to £5million, linked to first-team appearances. The matter could yet go to a Football Association transfer tribunal.

Well, well, well.Emil Danchev has totally changed his tune.

"Bulgaria's top-striker Dimitar Berbatov is very likely to become the best-paid player at the White Hart Lane stadium, if he decides to re-sign with Tottenham Hotspur," "Dimitar will not play football all his life. He is not so much after money as after professional development. It will be a hard summer for him, during which he is to decide where to continue his career, staying at Tottenham has not been ruled out, i have simply been misquoted in the media, Dimitar loves it here, but like i said, the summer will still be long and hard for him.
