I remember seeing ticket inspectors come on the ACTUAL tube train whilst it was running at Goldhaux rd (H&C line). Its a bit odd to do that cos at every tube station theres barriers.Plain clothed inspectors aswell...felt for the bare kids that jus ran up on the train a stop b4.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/london/7090232.stmKiss goodbye to the free overground silverlink services. He will eventually get to other overground railway lines in time. I'm pissed if I need to use it. Best make the most of it before it kicks in properly at the end of 2008.*pours some henny out for the Brondesbury, Camden Road and Hackney Central line*
When I was living in South Acton that was my regular mode of transportation 99' times when there wern't a foot locker on each corner man would hop it quickish to Camden Rd and cop creps. Used it when jetting to uni get to Finchley & Frognal and 757 to Luton, and the greatest strech of line on the london network, Sth Acton to Willesden Junction, Willesden Junction to Harrow & Wealdstone. Thinking back this line saved man pure change. No barriers, no inspectors, no stress.
Boy this hasnt hit my ends, many statios in south east london are free, with no barriers.
But Gunner, remember when inspectors were hottin up Lewisham station earlier this year?I see them again a couple weeks bk, but they aint been bk since.U never kno wit these ppl, even at Grove park station near my house, theyre on it.
