Saigon posted a message on his MySpace page stating he's done with rap and is quitting. In a surprise move that seems to have stemmed from the mediaâs coverage of his recent Shade45 interview (where he appeared drunk and confrontational), Saigon âYardfatherâ has thrown in the towel in the wake of his albums upcoming release. In his message Saigon blamed the media for taking what he says out of context and that he basically is what he is and will never change. In his own words Saigon told his fans that the industry is âfakeâ and that he never wanted his music and career go in the direction it has. He also cites the incident with Mobb Deep and calls out all rappers who have said his name in the streets. According to the message and at press time, Saigon hasnât informed Just Blaze or the label (Atlantic) of his plans to leave rap. Miss Info reports that, Kanye West has decided to cancel the remainder of his European tour in wake of his mother's recent death. This includes a huge show Thursday night in London.

I dont like not being able to speak my mind without some f*cking clown being able to make a story out of it because Im a "rapper" and "rappers" shouldnt say those things....hahahah I didnt sign up for this..No more interviews, no more mixtapes, no nothing....Im not a rapper anymore, Im done.. I no longer have to keep pretending to be a certain way to care about a radio spin, or an interview, so I can address these people when I see them like I BEEEEN wanting to, and thats unbiased.
