Kurtis Posted November 29, 2007 Report Share Posted November 29, 2007 RAM u can get it anywhereebay, net computer shops etci personally go to the stratford computer fair on weekends when i need sutinprocessor wouldnt b an issue unless u got some multi threading programs and doing 10 things at once witht them, u just need applications to start quickern upgrading ram is easy, just turn off, replace and turn onwith processors u have to re-install your OS to take advantage of itbut if the RAM isnt enough, then the start up times still might b slow, coz obv when ur workin all the info is stored on the RAM, n if there isnt alot it needs to dump info thats not needed etc then clear space to start the new app.and like i said, delete un-used files, applications etcalso check for spyware, malware, adware etc Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It will be money wasted or you'll slow down your PC even further.& yes, this does involve RAM, CPU upgrades. You cant have a mobo that only support RAM of up to PC-2700 - Bus speed & you got and get PC-3200 - Bus speed. So whatever you're thinkin of gettin.
