A mother of two was stabbed by her estranged husband while she dropped their daughter off at school, the Old Bailey has heard.Dilek Guvec was taking the girl to school when Haydar Guvec appeared and said: "I'm going to kill you."He stabbed her in the side, chest, above the eye and in the top of the head before teachers came to her aid, the court was told.Mr Guvec, 35, of Enfield, north London, denies attempted murder.
"There was another lady there. He said to her, 'don't intervene'. I was in shock."
Mr Haydar said he accidentally cut his wife with a knife he had taken to the school which he was going to use to peel an apple for his young son.He said he only cut her once and his wife had exaggerated the severity of the alleged attack.
