Kaya is not dead, she's still in critical condition with broken legs, ribs and some internal injuries (so I'm told).As motorway drivers will know, Lorries are the worst when it comes to veering into other lanes. It doesn't suprise me that the car was hit on the M1 hard shoulder (especially since the M1 has such poor lighting, and the car was probably near the edge). A couple of years ago I was sitting in a VW Golf in lights when a Yaris reversed into the car. The VW Golf had no markings or scratches whatsoever while the crumpled back of the Yaris looked like it had been in a severe accident. These small "smart car" type cars are a danger to their owners. ExactlyThem cars= Modified wheelchairsmy cousin calls them smart cars coffins on wheels.When I passed my driving test my instructor sed whatever I do, dont get a smart car! My girl told me about this recently.You have to always be alert on road, right up until the point where you are inside your yard. When I drove down from Coventry to London along the M40, it was a daunting experience at first because of the lack of lights and the way certain cars were hitting 120mph like it was 30 on a normal road. And these lorry drivers need to be more serious. Got cut off twice by some d*ckhead pushing a lorry.And furthermore, this makes me think about times I've been in a car and the guy has pulled inot the hard shoulder to change drivers. Could have easily been me in these girl's position.So you see when you have to pull over in the hard shoulder, is there always an emergency phone nearby, or is it just chance?
