U18's through to Youth Cup final. 4-0 win over Chelsea U18's.

Morrison deflected shot for first goal, Keane header for second, Keane bundled in a Tyler Blackett square ball for third and then a penalty for the fourth.

McEachran didn't show again. Pogba drifted in and out (by his standards) but ultimately did enough in midfield but it was Morrison who lifted the team at 0-0 and got us the first goal which gave us the confidence to get the second so we went 2-0 up (4-3 on agg) at half-time. Another great performance by him.

Tunnicliffe was outstanding especially in 2nd half. Thorpe had a blinder in defence. Van Velzen and Cole were brilliant. Will Keane got his hat-trick. Rest of defence didn't put a foot wrong. Johnstone had about 2 good saves to make all game, rest were routine, tame shots from outside the box.

Best performance from the Youth team I've seen in quite a while. The whole team including the subs were brilliant.

It's a shame Ravel Morrison will miss the games against Chelsea. Wanted to see what all the fuss is about. I doubt he's half the player Josh McEachran is anyway. Probably got himself sent off on purpose to avoid the big showdown with England's most gifted young player. Big game bottler already.

The thing thats f*cked is I wouldnt rate any of those guys who played today as our top youth talent and I really doubt any of them will get near the first team. The real badmen are all in that under 18 side that hurt chelsea. That is the new golden generation. Tunnicliffe, Pogba,Morrison,W Keane,L.Cole,Cofie DPMO. All those guys in one team. MADNESS

I was talking more from a team point of view, and that team won the league... and I said decent.

I think first-team footballers is a whole another story & tbh top clubs shouldnt really stockpile their best talents within one team imo, as the individuals need to develop at different rates.

stockpile you know. like it was forced. They are all 18 years old and most of them come from Manchester and have been in the academy for years. Hence why im highlighting the words golden generation and saying its f*cked they all came through together.

and im sure they will all separate out on their own paths after they win the youth cup.
