The Nerazzurri have been heavily linked with the skilful Belarusian in recent weeks, and indeed there were reports last month that the player held secret talks with Inter officials prior to Arsenal’s Champions League game with Milan at San Siro. This was later denied by Inter, however sources this morning are claiming that Hleb has agreed to join the Nerazzurri in time for next season. The talented midfielder has been linked with Barcelona as well, but has insisted in the past he wants to stay put. However, he is said to be frustrated by Arsenal's inability to challenge for top honours, which is what has supposedly changed his stance. The 26-year-old is said to have agreed on a five-year contract worth three million euros per season.Inter will pay Arsenal a rather reasonable-looking 14 million euros for the player who will be Luis Figo’s replacement on the left hand side of midfield.Figo’s contract at San Siro runs out at the end of this campaign, and he will either retire from football, or see out his remaining years in the Major League Soccer in America.Another player who has been heavily linked with replacing Figo at Inter in recent weeks is Sevilla’s Diego Capel. http://www.goal.com/en/Articolo.aspx?ContenutoId=656427

Could be a blessing in disguise if he goes...Then Wenger will have to spend and buy experienced players imo..
Wenger will already have loads to spend, he just claims he doesnt need any players so i doubt that wuld change with an other 10million-oddplusi doubt he'll buy experienced players

Were i did say about him getting money from the transfer?I said he will be forced to spend because he will have a gap to fill from a first team player...

LOL! @ a midfielder that doesn't score or assist, i don't care how good his close control and dribbling is if he can't pick out a man or shoot. Arsenal should get rid and if the barca links still there take one of there midfielders in exchange. I'd be upset if milan made a mistake in signing him.

Depends whos on the end of your pass tbh, Adebayor? then your assists going to be low, Eduardo? and you'll have 20+

how do you explain the non scoring then. Oh and Adebayor has 26 goals and eduardo and Fabregas quite a few, i'm brave enough to gues Hleb doesn't have 10 assists and that Walcott has nearly as much. Can't see why arsenal fans love him off so much.

If hlebs contribution was to be the same next season as it was this season, then i would rather him going tbh.Technically and ability wise he is fantastic and probably has the best close control and dribbling in the premiership. But it never seems to merit a goal or have a huge influence on the game.

Alexander Hleb’s agent may have revealed there have been ‘no official offers’ for the Belarus star, but he has sent a clear warning to Arsenal that his client will be in high demand come the summer.Hleb has been one of the club’s more impressive performers this season and whilst he has scored just four goals, his intricate dribbling and excellent technique have really caught the eye.His displays in The Premier League and Champions League have clearly not gone unnoticed and controversy erupted in March when Inter were accused of tapping him up prior to Arsenal’s Champions League victory in Milan.According to his representative Nikolai Shpilevski, another three European giants have joined the chase for the former Stuttgart star but no formal bids have yet been forthcoming.“I’m often approached about Hleb,” Shpilevski told the Daily Express.“I have nothing to hide; Alexander is a world class player.“Real Madrid, Juventus and Barcelona are interested in him, but there are no official offers.”Hleb told setantasports.com in February that he was loving life at Arsenal and had no intention of leaving the club.

lolI cant believe some Arsenal fans can't see how integral he is to the way you play. Draws in men to create a lot of space for other players to exploit.
I know hes a big player. When i watch him on tv i think wow this guy is sick. Every time i see him live i think "how the f*ck did he do that and still dribble the ball"And if he left AFC i would probably cry, but am sick of seeing him putting in the work, doing what he does best in this country and nothing to show.Maybe if he went inter he would start merking and he can achieve fantastic things there. But at Arsenal, its just not working out.Am saying, if we are gonna get rid of him then now is the time. The price is right and we despratley need an attacking mid thats got goals in them eg. Gerrard, Lampard, Kaka, cahill ect
