day the twin towers got demolished, i was in sixth form art class and my teacher started bawling. i was like wtf and she explained what happened, and dismissed class. came outside and all the teachers were guiding the students out the school. outside the gates there were parents pickin up their kids that were all in year 10 and 11. i was shook lol.day of the london bombings i was down kings cross that morning, waiting for my mate so we could go to work. missed our train so we got the 476, like just as we passed scala we started seeing people running. didn't get off or anything cos we were running late. didn't know there had been any bombings until we got to hammersmith and there was hallabaloo at the station. pure police and everything.

When Diana died I was watching TV and noticed that every channel had a notice telling us to tune in to BBC 1 (I think that was the channel anyway). I didn't really care at the time, I was only 11-years old and my only concern was which PS1 game I was gonna steal from some prick.On 9/11 (I was in Year 11) I came home, only to see my auntie staring at the TV in shock and I was baffed like f*ck. Then the next day bare Muslim man in school were joking and laughing about the peple dying. Myself and others just stayed quiet and kept walking.On 7/7 I was at home getting ready to go college but my mum came back from KX and told me that there was a power surge there, and as soon as I said ''what''... BANG, we heard the bus blow up. Thank goodness we were all home except my sister, but she was guided home safely anyway. Next minute one of my neighbours is like ''blad, blad come outside, bare man in suits are running all over the place, panicking and bleeding, must be because of that bomb'' and I'm just like ''f*ck off Im staying in''.

I was in school, oblivious to what happened when the Towers buckled. Got home now and they had it on every station. I didnt know what they were so I rang Mum and she explained. Still thought it was like some movie so i wasnt bothered. That was until I saw the documentary that night were they showed people jumping from the buildings. Thats when I realised that it wasnt just buildings but people dying.7/7 was during the p/t work time so I was sleeping and was awoken by the sound of my Dads voice saying "I cant get through to her" and clocked after a while that he was talking about my Mum. At this point, I didnt know about the bombing so I put 2+2 together and got 7. The conclusion I came to (Crimewatch inspired) was that my Mum hadnt made it to work and they had called asking where she was. Inevitably, I'm thinking shes been snatched off road or suttin. My heart is beating hard now, breath rate has increased dramatically, regretting all the bad I'd ever done like shouted back at my Mu and dem ting der. Low and behold, Mum was cool, she just didnt want to wake us up.Aaliyah: I was told by my Dad before they went to some day trip. Was pissed in-a-way but I dont know why.
