FA to study Drogba comments

The Football Association has confirmed it will analyse Didier Drogba's comments regarding deliberate bookings before deciding whether to take action. The Chelsea striker claims in his autobiography that former Blues boss Jose Mourinho discretely told him to pick up a yellow card in a game, in order to sit out a match of his choice through suspension.Drogba was happy to follow the Portuguese tactician's orders, as it sometimes allowed him to secure an additional holiday during the arduous campaign. However, his comments have not gone down well with The FA, who are keen to read the quotes in full when the book is released in July, before deciding if any offence has been committed.Calculated"Mourinho calculated everything. He looked at the match programme and analysed the cards each of his lads had received," he stated in his autobiography, C'était Pas Gagné."He sometimes whispered to me: 'It would be good for you to get a yellow card today. You would miss such-and-such a match. I will give you four free days'."No problem. I used to do as he said."That allowed me to pay myself a little trip to Dubai. It was a modern way of treating work and the individual." Why would you admit this?

Drogba is one dumb f*ck at times."Yes i dive...."So you dive?"No i dont dive."But you just said..."Sometimes i dive, sometimes i dont dive, no i do not dive.""Actually i want to quit Chelsea, i will retire from football if somebody says i dive"f*ckin scumbag, hope he f*cks off in the summer.

I don't see nothing wrong with it. But depends on how you get the booking. Wrong if you blatantly go out and try do harm to an opposition player to get booked, but if you throw the ball in anger and get booked thus missing Derby away leaving you free for a title crunch game then I personally see nothing wrong with it.

yeh, he did it against wales init, on ben thatcher
Why not just asked to get dropped from the squad? :D
the whole point is so he can get yellow carded so he misses games against sh*t teamsso that he can play without fear of getting booked leading up to big games

ROFL @ heads on here thinking Drogba and Jose are the only ones who do it.
innit, these 'accidental yellows' have existed ever since the 5 yellows = suspension rule came in.
