Yet you wanna sign a right back with more championship experience then champions league over someone playing in the champions league final.

Sign both..

But using the same analogy i would take Dybala or Vietto over Tevez.

get me.

It really isn't that difficult to comprehend.

and makes even more sense when you have a coach who is excellent with young talents

One of the main reasons why teams like Liverpool are in a very very bad way

As highly as i rate vietto and dybala, tevez is currently one of the top strikers in world football

Not true, our club is in the best shape in years.

In fact if we went for Vietto over Lambert or Balotelli we would be laughing now.

You also have to buy established players, but not everyone is a Madrid, some clubs have to build organically.

Like Cantona & Yorke

Or like Beckham, Scholes, Neville, Butt,

Uniteds best work of that period, started intrinsically within the club, you can spend big money on established players when you've got that nucleus.

Have a team of young hungry players, with a couple top class experienced heads is the best way, the Van Gaal and Ajax way, and what United want to return to.

You was never in the running for Vietto

How can you club be in good shape when the likes of

Basel are finishing ahead of you

Carrick/De Gea are their only top class heads

Thats the difference with English teams when they win CL they stand still

You strengthen with quality not age

When they get overtaken by their counterparts on the continent

They are in shock to how it happen

The club has a whole, financially and off the field.

We have the best youth academies we've had since the Owen generations, one of the best academies in the world.

A host of good young players, a good young manager, the clubs in the best shape its been in a decade or so.

Getting knocked out the group stages doesn't really change that.

I personally think that United need to buy top and established players at this point, especially if they become available like Alves is.

I would rather be going into the CL with Alves next season than Clyne.

Once you're back on top is when you start priortising for top younger players over top established ones. It took Wenger long enough to realise he had to start buying greatness to hope to become great again.

Morientes did the same

It's more to do with karma than quality what Morata did

And the other teams do what?

They don't stand still, yet no team has retained the CL?

Madrid won the CL, last year, spent a lot of money in the summer, only to.....regress.

Agree but It depends on the quality of your young players tbh.

Ajax, United, Barca have all won loads with a gifted generation of young players.

You need a balance of both(well you don't need, but its desirable)
